When the driver detects 6-9V of input, the system logic automatically switches to produce only 30% of the standard output. The low power drive rate of 250mA generates 460lm per emitter, making it ideal for use as a daytime running light. During this mode, the cooling fan shuts off to conserve power and extend the lifespan of the bulb. Note that the DRL-Drive function is intended for non-US markets.
